4 Days Tour from Tangier to Marrakech

Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen – Fes

Your journey begins with pickup from Tangier and a scenic drive toward the Rif Mountains. The first stop is the enchanting Chefchaouen, known as the Blue Pearl of Morocco. Enjoy free time wandering through the blue-painted alleys, vibrant markets, and charming squares.

After lunch, continue driving through the mountains and small rural towns until reaching Fes, the cultural and spiritual capital of Morocco. Overnight stay in a hotel or riad in Fes.

Day 2: Fes – Middle Atlas – Midelt – Merzouga 

After breakfast, depart from Fes and travel south across the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through cedar forests and the town of Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Continue to Azrou, known for its cedar woods and wild Barbary macaques.

Drive through Midelt, the apple-producing region, and enjoy stunning views of the Ziz Valley as you approach the desert. Pass through Erfoud, famous for fossils and date markets, before arriving in Merzouga at the edge of the towering Erg Chebbi dunes.

In the afternoon, begin your camel trekking experience, riding into the dunes to enjoy a breathtaking sunset. Arrive at your desert camp for dinner, music, and a night under the stars.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Todgha Gorges – Boumalne Dades

Wake early to witness the magical sunrise over the dunes, then return by camel or 4×4 to the village of Merzouga. Continue your journey toward Rissani, the former capital of the Alaouite dynasty and home to a traditional market full of spices, dates, and handicrafts.

From here, travel to the impressive Todgha Gorges, where massive limestone cliffs create one of Morocco’s most dramatic canyons. Enjoy free time to walk, relax, and take photos.

In the afternoon, drive toward the Dades Valley, known as the “Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs.” Explore the beautiful landscapes, including the famous “Monkey Fingers” rock formations and the winding road of Dades Gorge.

Day 4: Boumalne Dades – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

After breakfast, we drive along the rose valley, continuing to Ouarzazate, known as the Gateway to the Sahara and home to Morocco’s film studios. Continue to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, one of the most famous ksars in Morocco and the filming location of movies and series such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones.

After exploring the ancient village, begin your drive across the High Atlas Mountains, passing through the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass with breathtaking panoramic views.

Arrive in Marrakech in the  afternoon or evening, marking the end of your unforgettable 4-day tour.
