Day 1: Arrival in Fes – Explore the Imperial City

Arrive at Fes Airport or train station and transfer to your riad or hotel. if time permits to make aguided walking tour to discover  the Madina of Fes.

Begin your exploration of Fes, Morocco’s spiritual and cultural capital. set off on a guided walking tour through the ancient medina of Fes, Wander its narrow alleys filled with markets, mosques, and artisan workshops that have operated for centuries.

Wander through the labyrinthine streets of Fes el-Bali, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, visiting highlights such as the Bou Inania Madrasa, Al-Qarawiyyin University, and the Chouara Tannery. Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the souks, where traditional crafts, spices, and artisan goods abound.

Day 2: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Merzouga Desert

Depart from Fes in the morning and drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains, our first stop will be in Ifrane, also known as  “Switzerland of Morocco” known for its European-style architecture and clean streets.

Stop in cedar forests, home to Barbary macaque monkeys, before continuing through Berber villages to Midelt, where you’ll enjoy lunch amidst scenic landscapes.

Drive through the Ziz Valley, famous for its palm groves and kasbahs, before arriving in Merzouga, the gateway to the Erg Chebbi dunes. Experience a sunset camel trek and spend the night at a luxury desert camp, enjoying dinner and Berber music under the stars.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert Exploration

If you would like, you can also wake up early to witness the sunrise over Erg Chebbi dunes. After breakfast, explore the desert’s unique landscapes and culture.

Visit Khamlia village, home to the Gnawa musicians, and experience their traditional music. visit Berber nomad families to learn about their daily lives and desert traditions. Discover oases, palm groves, and geological sites such as the Mifis mines.

Optional activities include quad biking, sandboarding, or relaxing in the dunes. Enjoy another stunning sunset camel ride before returning to your desert camp.

Day 4: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

Depart from Merzouga after having breakfast and drive to Rissani, the historical Alaouite capital, where you can explore the local market. Continue to Todra Gorge, a spectacular canyon with towering cliffs perfect for hiking or photography.

After that we will head to the Dades Valley via Boumalne Dadès. The final drive into the valley offers spectacular scenery, including the famous geological formations known as “monkey fingers” and a winding road that leads to your chosen overnight accommodation in the picturesque gorge area.

Enjoy a delicious Moroccan dinner and relax in your Riad or hotel while surrounded by the dramatic landscapes of the valley.

Day 5: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

After having a delicious breakfast at your hotel in Dades Valley, we will drive through the Rose Valley, Kelaâ M’Gouna This town is renowned for its annual Rose Festival and its thriving industry of rosewater and rose-based cosmetic products. we will make a stop for a brief visit to a local cooperative to see the products and perhaps purchase a souvenir (optional visit).

We continue our day to explore Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Africa, and visit the Atlas Film Studios, Continue to the “Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah” is a UNESCO World Heritage known as an important stop for caravans, traveling between Sahara Desert and Marrakech, today becomes famous for movies and Series such as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, & Game of Thrones.

After lunch time, we cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, enjoying panoramic views and photo stops, before arriving in Marrakech.

Day 6: Marrakech City Tour

Spend the day exploring the vibrant city of Marrakech. Visit the Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, a lively marketplace full of performers, storytellers, and street food. Discover Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, and the serene Majorelle Gardens, designed by Yves Saint Laurent.

Day 7: Departure from Marrakech
