Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech – Explore the Red City

Upon arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our driver and transferred to your riad or hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can begin exploring the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, where snake charmers, storytellers, and musicians bring the city to life.

Discover the city’s vibrant souks, filled with colorful spices, traditional crafts, and exotic aromas. Don’t miss landmarks such as the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, and the tranquil Majorelle Garden designed by Yves Saint Laurent.

Day 2: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

After breakfast, your journey begins with a drive across the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m), one of the most scenic routes in Morocco. Enjoy breathtaking landscapes and visit small Berber villages nestled in the mountains.

Our first stop is the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an iconic film location for movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Explore this ancient fortified village before continuing to Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa,” where you can visit the Atlas Film Studios or the Taourirt Kasbah.

We then travel through the Valley of Roses and along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs before reaching the Dades Valley, famous for its dramatic rock formations and scenic gorges.

Day 3: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga Desert (Erg Chebbi)

After breakfast, we continue through the Dades Valley towards the impressive Todra Gorge, a natural wonder with cliffs towering up to 300 meters. Here, you can enjoy a short hike or simply admire the stunning landscape.

Next, we drive through Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud, known for their fossil workshops, before reaching Merzouga, the gateway to the Erg Chebbi dunes.

Your camel trekking adventure begins here. Ride your camel through the dunes as the sun sets over the Sahara, creating breathtaking colors in the sky. Upon arrival at your luxury desert camp, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner followed by Berber music and drumming around the campfire under the starry desert sky.

Day 4: Explore Merzouga and Desert Lifestyle

Wake up early to witness a spectacular sunrise over the dunes — a magical start to your day. After breakfast, we begin a full day exploring the Merzouga region, known for its rich culture and desert lifestyle.

We visit the village of Khamlia, home to the Gnawa people who will welcome you with their traditional African music. Then, we drive off-road to visit Berber nomad families living in the desert, offering a unique insight into their daily lives.

You’ll also see fossil sites, desert oases, and the Mifis mines before returning to your accommodation to relax. In the afternoon, you can enjoy optional activities such as quad biking, sandboarding, or simply watching the sunset over the dunes.

Day 5: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt

After breakfast, we leave the desert and travel north through the Ziz Valley, famous for its vast palm groves and oases. Stop for panoramic views and photos of this green valley contrasting with the desert landscape.

We continue our journey through Errachidia and Rich, arriving in Midelt, located between the Middle and High Atlas Mountains. Known for its apple orchards and cool climate, Midelt offers a refreshing change of scenery.

Day 6: Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes

After breakfast, we drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing cedar forests and charming towns. Stop in Azrou, where you can see Barbary macaque monkeys in their natural habitat. Then, continue to Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its alpine architecture and clean streets.

By afternoon, we arrive in Fes, Morocco’s oldest imperial city and spiritual capital. You’ll have the evening free to relax or explore the medina’s narrow alleys filled with history, culture, and traditional craftsmanship.

Day 7: Fes – Return to Marrakech or Airport Transfer

After breakfast, you’ll have free time to explore Fes Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most fascinating medieval cities in the world. Visit landmarks like the Bou Inania Madrasa, Al-Qarawiyyin University, and Chouara Tannery, where traditional leatherwork has been practiced for centuries.
