Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca – Rabat

Upon arrival at Casablanca International Airport, you’ll be greeted by your professional driver-guide from Azul Morocco Travel. Begin your Moroccan adventure with a visit to the Hassan II Mosque, one of the world’s largest and most magnificent mosques overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Day 2: Rabat – Chefchaouen (The Blue Pearl)

After breakfast, travel north through scenic mountain roads to Chefchaouen, one of Morocco’s most picturesque towns. Known as the “Blue Pearl”, Chefchaouen is famous for its blue-washed houses, relaxed atmosphere, and charming medina.

Spend your afternoon wandering through the narrow alleys, exploring Outa el Hammam Square, and visiting the Kasbah Museum. End your day with a breathtaking view of the town from the Spanish Mosque at sunset.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

Depart Chefchaouen after breakfast and head toward the impressive Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its well-preserved mosaics and ancient history.

Continue to Meknes, the 17th-century imperial city built by Sultan Moulay Ismail. Visit the Bab Mansour Gate, the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, and the Royal Stables before driving to Fes, the spiritual heart of Morocco.

Day 4: Full Day Exploring Fes

Visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque and University, Nejjarine Fountain, and the colorful Chouara Tannery. Walk through the bustling souks filled with traditional crafts, spices, and textiles.

Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, leave Fes and journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, often called “Morocco’s Switzerland,” and continue through Azrou’s cedar forests, where you can see Barbary macaques in their natural habitat.

Drive through the Ziz Valley, known for its palm groves and kasbahs, before reaching Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert.

In the evening, ride a camel into the Erg Chebbi dunes to witness a magical sunset. Spend the night in a luxury desert camp, enjoy a delicious dinner, and dance around the campfire with Berber music under a starlit sky.

Day 7: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

Enjoy a walk along the gorge, take photos, and continue through the scenic Dades Valley, known for its red rock formations and kasbahs.
